What do you do when you aren’t at work:- Spend most of my time with my kids and wife and also drink beer.

Zena Jones
Position:- Network Engineer - Level 1
Nickname:- Oh where to start!!! I have so many! First on the list has to be Warrior Princess for obvious reasons. Others include Ze, Zena Ribena, Zebra, Penguin Lady and have also been referred to as Zone Ticket! Strange but true!
What do you like about the IT industry:- The troubleshooting and having the ability to fix something… nearly all the time!
What is your IT experience:- Fixing the “technical issues” in my family! 1.5 years help desk/IT support, 1 year at TAFE studying a Certificate IV in IT (Networking)
What do you do when you aren’t at work:- Studying, watching TV, spending time with my partner (or spending too much time on the computer and playing with my phone), playing hockey, watching live soccer matches (Adelaide United), watching AFL on the TV cheering on the team I backed in the office footy tips!
Most nerdy thing you own:- A 2TB USB3.0 external hard drive and a portable USB that boots my old broken laptop into Linux – which I hardly use.

What do you like about the IT industry:- Everything is dynamic – it’s always changing! New products/toys are being released all the time!
What is your IT experience:- 3 years at University, 2 years with a Hospitality Management company (maintaining internal IT systems), 2.5 years with a Strategic Human Resources company (also maintaining internal IT systems).
What do you do when you aren’t at work:- cycling, watching movies, drinking, celebrating – aka enjoying life!
Most nerdy thing you own:- Generations of gaming consoles (SEGA Master System, SEGA Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Playstation 2, Xbox 360), I also own all seven seasons of MacGyver!

What do you like about the IT industry:- Everyone is reliant upon it in this day and age and there is always something new to learn from really cool people.
What is your IT experience:- Work experience at Copperwire in Year 10, 3 Months of full time work at Comwire IT with casual holiday work with Mark, Rob and the team during school. Its been fantastic.
What do you do when you aren’t at work:- Chilling with my Mates, Fixing/Improving my Escort. Starting to appreciate a good ale as well.
