Small Business Servers
We see that most businesses that use email and work with files have a need for a small business server. The Microsoft Small Business server manages everything in your network. Below are some of the features that our clients benefit from the most:
- Emails – A small business server runs Microsoft Exchange, this feature handles all of your emails and keeps them backed up on your server. No more paying for email hosting with your ISP, and having it on your server means you will get the emails live, as they come through. This also means if your laptop gets stolen or your desktop computer hard drive dies, you don’t need to panic as your emails are backed up on your server.
- Exchange/Email Push – a feature supported by a lot of mobile phones these days including iPhones, HTC’s, some Nokia’s and many more! This feature means you can send and receive emails live on your phone. These are synchronised with your server and in turn your desktop. Add contacts or calendar appointments and these are also synchronised with your Outlook.
- Calendar Sharing – having the ability to share your calendar with the rest of your organisation, allowing users to view your availability, and/or remove appointments, of course all setup to the security level you want to give them.
- File & Printer Sharing – having the ability to share files and printers from one central location, these are also controlled by security levels.

Terminal Server
